The Role:
Maintenance Engineer to work for a well-established Global Manufacturing company based in Wrexham. The successful candidate will be an addition to the Engineering Department, assisting with breakdowns and following a Planned Preventive Maintenance schedule
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:
Mechanical maintenance and installation, as well as electrical installation.
General facility maintenance and improvement of services, by sourcing and managing contractors on numerous projects.
Working to a schedule of maintenance activities, whilst being flexible in supporting Production and Moulding Operations day to day.
Basic understanding of PLC programming, enabling minor adjustments to be made to programmes.
Energy saving improvements and initiatives.
Working to a TPM schedule or attending and solving Production system breakdowns including maintenance of automation equipment.
Maintenance Engineer requirements:
HND in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
Ideally, you will be qualified to the 18th Edition of the IEE regulations.
Creative and have good problem-solving skills to design, review and implement improvement in the construction and operations of facilities, focusing on electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.
