Key Responsibilities:
1. Expert Advisory: Providing expert advice on complex risk and compliance matters, including professional standards, ethics, regulatory compliance, data protection, and conflict of interest.

2. Data Analysis: Producing and monitoring risk and compliance data to identify strengths and weaknesses in current processes.
3. Policy Development: Assisting in updating the firm’s precedent documents and creating concise, professional policies and training materials.
4. Training and Development: Developing and delivering bespoke training programmes for different divisions, enhancing the firm’s overall compliance knowledge.
5. Leadership: Leading the escalation of higher-risk matters to the Risk Committee and coach junior team members.
Essential Skills and Experience required:
6. Extensive experience in risk and compliance within a law firm.
7. Advanced knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and codes of conduct.
8. Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
9. Strong analytical skills, numeracy, and attention to detail.
Desirable Qualifications:
10. Qualified solicitor with a current Practising Certificate.
11. Degree-level education or equivalent, preferably in law or compliance.
12. Experience in managerial or coaching roles.
