About the Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you will look after the diverse needs of our residents to deliver quality, person‑centred care and support. Your role involves supervising and inspiring a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager, and supporting the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews. You will always respect the dignity and preferences of residents, contributing to a warm, welcoming and vibrant environment.
About You
You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care and specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We look for warm‑hearted, compassionate and committed individuals who provide individualised care and support. Ongoing training offers career development opportunities, with many Senior Care Assistants progressing to Care Practitioner, Regional Carer or nursing roles.
