Telford & Wrekin Council,

Telford & Wrekin Library Service is looking for a keen individual to join the team as a Weekend Library Assistant. This role is based at Southwater Library every Saturday for 4 hours.

Brief Overview Of The Role

The library service is a valued resource within the community. This role provides a highly customer-focused service to the public.

Duties will include:


* Serving customers
* Answering general and book-related enquiries
* Issuing, discharging, and shelving books
* Helping customers in the use of IT via public access PCs

Skills And Experience

Candidates must be:
* Able to work accurately, at times under pressure
* Able to establish good relationships with both customers and colleagues
* Have a friendly and outgoing personality
* Have enthusiasm for developing new skills
