* Position: Customer Service Agent
* Salary: from £23,000
* Location: Polegate
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm (possible hybrid after probation)

Are you passionate about delivering world-class customer service and ready to take on an exciting challenge in a dynamic team? Join my client’s Customer Service team where your skills and dedication will truly make a difference!

Reporting to the UK Operations Services Manager, you will provide 1st-line support and updates to customers, managers, and internal stakeholders, while ensuring that every customer interaction exceeds expectations.

The role of the Customer Service Agent will include:

* Coordinating and scheduling reactive breakdowns, installations, decommissions, and other service tasks.
* Managing travel and accommodation arrangements for staff.
* Handling key administration tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
* Collaborating with a small, flexible team in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
* Ensuring accurate data entry in the service management system.
* Preparing customer quotes and processing purchase orders for chargeable jobs.
* Tracking job progress to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
* Providing phone support to engineers in the field.
* Allocating work to engineers effectively, ensuring compliance with health and safety policies.
* Organising travel and hotel bookings, maintaining cost efficiency.

Skills and experience required for the Customer Service Agent include:

* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with proven experience.
* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite – database experience is preferred.
* Strong multitasking and organisational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
* A team player with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
* Ability to think proactively and solve problems effectively.
* Good geographical knowledge is advantageous.
