Are you looking for a nice varied accounts role, somewhere local, 35 hour working week in a nice environment, where you can remain long term? If you are this could be the perfect job for you if you have the relevant accounts experience.
This role is not offering progression, but it does offer variety and stability. They need someone who has experience in transactional accounts and has good systems knowledge, if you have NetSuite then even better.
Daily duties will include
* Assisting with management accounts prep
* Assisting with VAT returns
* Purchase ledger - processing invoices for payment, resolving queries, reconciling supplier statements and payment runs.
* Sales ledger, sending out invoices and following up with calls and emails for outstanding payments, allocating cash, credit checking and managing debtors.
* Bank reconciliations
* Payment runs for expenses
* Liaising with other departments to support the wider business
* Managing the accounts inbox
You will be someone who is ideally AAT or part AAT and has worked in accounts for long enough to be happy to work autonomously. You will be someone with a can do friendly attitude and happy to work in a small company.
