Please note that due to changes in Government Legislation we are unable to fulfil the remuneration requirements for Graduate level, therefore unable to accept applications from individuals who hold a student or Graduate Visa. We continue to support colleagues with work sponsorship at later stages in their career.
What we are looking for
We require candidates to hold an RTPI-accredited degree or a relevant degree in Geography, Town Planning/Urban Planning or Built Environment. We seek graduates who can demonstrate:
* A logical and analytical approach
* Great problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to use your own initiative and think creatively
Work experience in Town/Urban Planning is advantageous but not essential; youll learn on the job through the Graduate Training Scheme.
Responsibilities
* As a Graduate Town Planner, you will work with the Planning team to deliver planning consultancy services on varied projects.
* Youll assist in preparing, submitting and negotiating planning applications and statements
* Youll support public consultations and site visits
* Youll provide professional advice to clients, local planning authorities and other statutory bodies
* Youll gain experience across sectors and client bases to support your development
