With a temporary to permanent pathway and steady Monday-Friday daytime hours, this role offers stability, routine and the chance to build long-term experience in the maintenance and facilities field.
Position Details
* Role: Maintenance Operative
* Location: Belfast
* Rate: £14.50 per hour
* Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
* On Call: 1 week every 12 weeks (with on-call payment)
* Contract: Temp to Perm
* Benefits: Company van + fuel card
What You'll Be Doing
* Carrying out general repairs & maintenance (doors, fittings, fixtures, basic carpentry)
* Assisting tradesmen with plumbing & electrical tasks
* Basic decorating (painting, sanding, filling)
* Site preparation, clean-up, and general labouring duties
* Minor plumbing tasks (replacing taps, resealing baths, etc.)
* Minor electrical assistance (changing fittings, switches, etc.)
* Keeping tools, equipment and materials organised
* Communicating with clients and reporting issues to supervisors
Essential Criteria
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* Confident using tools and carrying out hands-on tasks
* Proactive, can-do attitude
* Reliable, punctual and hardworking
* Able to work independently or as part of a team
* Experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential
