The Role
As a Behaviour Mentor, you'll play a key role in:
Supporting students with challenging behaviour, trauma, or mental health needs
Building trust and positive relationships to help re-engage learners
Delivering tailored interventions and mentoring sessions
Working closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and external agencies
Promoting emotional regulation, self-esteem, and positive decision-making
What We're Looking For
Experience working with vulnerable young people, ideally in a PRU, SEMH, or alternative provision
Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
A calm, empathetic, and consistent approach
Ability to build rapport and model positive behaviour
Team player with a genuine commitment to student well being and progress
Desirable
Team Teach or similar behaviour training
Experience supporting post-16 learners
Background in youth work, psychology, or mentoring
