We are looking for a professional to join our Investment Banking team in London and use their skills and ideas to make an impact on the success of Goldman Sachs. Our TMT Group advises clients on various financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, equity/equity-linked and debt financings, joint ventures, restructurings, and financial investments.
Role Responsibilities
Our Analysts and Associates play an important role in developing and strengthening client relationships, participating on advisory teams, and structuring and executing a full range of financial transactions. Responsibilities include:
1. Creating and analyzing financial models
2. Organizing and preparing client presentations
3. Managing transaction processes
4. Assisting in structuring transactions
They gain exposure to the firm’s businesses and expand their knowledge of the investment banking industry while developing key analytical, communication, and marketing skills.
Additional responsibilities:
5. Develop financial models and perform customized company valuation analysis
6. Participate in M&A transactions and fixed income/equity issuances
7. Prepare presentations explaining industry trends and client strategies
8. Coordinate teams of tax advisors, attorneys, and bankers
9. Lead due diligence processes and participate in negotiations of legal documentation
10. Maintain client communication and help structure transactions
Skills & Experience We’re Looking For
Basic Qualifications
11. Investment banking or equivalent experience
12. History of outstanding academic and professional achievement
13. Strong team orientation and ability to work effectively across multiple groups and regions
