The Opportunity
* Lead the design, development, and validation of power electronic systems for electric propulsion applications.
* Take ownership of inverter, converter, and motor drive design, from concept through to production.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of power electronics into complex automotive systems.
* Deliver technical expertise in modelling, simulation, component selection, and system optimisation.
* Contribute to design reviews, safety analysis, and compliance with automotive and functional safety standards.
About You
* Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
* Proven track record in power electronics design for automotive, aerospace, or related high-tech industries.
* Strong knowledge of motor drives, inverters, DC/DC converters, and power distribution architectures.
* Experience with functional safety standards (ISO 26262) and thermal management of power electronics.
* A proactive engineer with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor junior colleagues.
