Your Role
Based at our Sainsbury’s Distribution Centre, the Service Technician will perform maintenance duties to ensure equipment productivity, availability, health & safety compliance, and quality. Responsibilities include:
1. Maintaining the condition of various installations
2. Performing malfunction repairs and maintenance, including preventive and periodic tasks in collaboration with colleagues
3. Resolving mechanical, electrical, and control technical faults
Candidate Requirements
As a Service Technician, your role is vital to customer satisfaction, with a focus on ensuring the continuity of customer processes. We value an enthusiastic, proactive, and flexible attitude. Requirements include:
1. City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or higher in mechanical/electrical maintenance
2. Willingness to work shifts, including nights
3. Experience with maintenance planning
Note: Due to the nature of the role, a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required.
