Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the accounting department by managing financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with various administrative tasks. This position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in accounting and finance while contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.
Duties
* Maintain accurate financial records and assist with data entry into accounting software.
* Process invoices, payments and expenses
* Maintain ledgers, reconcile bank statements
* Assist payroll, budgets & monthly reporting
* Liaise with suppliers, clients & internal teams.
* Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end closing procedures.
* Support the preparation of financial reports and documentation as required. for Accountants and Auditors
* Organise and maintain financial files and documentation for easy retrieval.
Requirements
* Proactive, precise and organised; strong Excel skills
* Strong numerical skills and attention to detail are crucial for accuracy in financial reporting.
* Familiar with accounting basics (or eager to learn)
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
