Due to continual investment we have a vacancy for an experienced CNC Miller. It is essential that applicants have a solid background in Machining techniques and well-developed skills In the methods of Inspection.
The Role and Responsibilities.
* Reporting to Production Manager.
* Desirable to have some Knowledge of editing CNC programs, not essential as programming is done off-line.
* Ability to set CNC lathes and turning machines with minimum supervision.
* Actively participate in our Health and Safety culture and adhering to our Health and Safety procedures at all times.
* Ability to work to tight tolerances. Troubleshooting of manufacturing problems associated with CNC Machining.
* Conversant with cutting tool philosophies and techniques.
* Has knowledge of processes and tooling for machining of high temperature alloys.
* Strong understanding of quality based processes and standards.
* Demonstrate a full commitment to work closely to all relevant staff.
