Join a fast-paced Construction team remotely managing sites worldwide.
The position is based at our Head Office in Portland, Dorset.
Hybrid working.
Required cover: 20-25 hours per week.
Task Descriptions:
* Coordinate and manage the subcontractor design team, subcontractors and utility companies designing and / or installing services to ensure the timely co-ordination of all aspects of the design, including interfaces, within the works. (The Design Coordinator is available throughout the period of design co-ordination, construction and commissioning the works.)
* Assisting the Site Manager in the production and monitoring of the Design programme.
* Instigating, in conjunction with others, information control systems and operating a design drawing submission and approval system with the design team.
* Chairing design and co-ordination liaison meetings with the Project Manager and design team.
* Monitoring the subcontractors progress on design and manufacture.
* Checking, co-ordinating and agreeing each subcontractors installation programme alongside programmer.
* Monitoring off-site fabrication and checking quality control and progress
* Communicate any project issues/risks to site team to ensure that they are fully aware of project progress and is notified of all financial, specification and time risks.

Qualifications Required:
A recognised design qualification at ONC/HNC Level or Construction Qualification at ONC/HNC or C&G.
Skills / Experience Required:
* Knowledge of Revit and other Autodesk design software such as AutoCAD / Navisworks / Recap would be advantageous.
* Previous experience of working with architects plans and drawings as well as manufacturing details and schedules.
* Understand the timescales / RIBA Stages in the delivery of production information.
* Good problem-solving skills and the ability to come up with practical solutions.
Salary: £30-£40,000 pro-rata (Dependant on skills and experience)
