We're looking for a Facilities Co-ordinator with the skills to keep Buckland Abbey in tiptop condition and running smoothly for all the people who visit and love the place.
As part of this role, you'll also be participating in the Duty Management rota for the property.
Salary: £14.16 per hour. The advertised salary for this role will be in effect from 1st April.
Contract: Permanent
Hours/working pattern: Part-time, 22.5 hours per week. The working pattern for this role runs on an alternate working pattern of Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Wednesday, Friday, Saturday.
What it's like to work here
Buckland Abbey is steeped in 700 years of history. Starting with the Cistercian Monks who built the abbey and farmed the estate, to Elizabethan seafarers Sir Richard Grenville and Sir Francis Drake.

What you'll be doing
As the Facilities Co-ordinator, you’ll be making sure that Buckland Abbey operates as it should, by running an efficient, effective and flexible facilities service. You’ll help the property team to meet their goals by keeping standards high. You’ll be helping with maintenance and repairs (reactive, as well as planned and preventative), cleaning and caretaking, the presentation of public areas and visitor facilities (including car parks and grounds), preparing meeting rooms and co-ordinating deliveries and collections.
