Job Description
Our client, based in Barnsley, Halifax & Leeds areas is currently recruiting for a Validation Surveyor on a 6-month temporary contract with possibility of extension.
The position is due to start immediately with a requirement of 5 days a week minimum commitment. Candidates will be paid £22 per survey, with current surveyors currently completing 60 surveys per day.
The client predicts each survey should take 15/20 minutes approximately.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Performing validation surveys using First Touch software on social housing units and confirming information that has already been collected from a previous surveyor
* Utilising a thorough understanding of HHSRS knowledge to complete the surveys and reporting any health and safety hazards found on the premises
* Undertaking surveys on an electronic handheld device in a timely manner following prior training
* Liaising with and engaging with residents in regards to the work being carried out
* Working in accordance with changing legislation, as well as health & safety policies and procedures
Experience required:
* First Touch software
* HHSRS
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
* Up to date understanding of health & safety policies and procedures
* Conducted stock condition/validation surveys previously
