Accounts Manager / Bookkeeper Biggin Hill £30,000 - £35,000 Full-time This role, joining a growing design, manufacture and installation business, offers the ability to take full control of the accounting function within the business. This is a standalone role suitable for a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who can take full responsibility for the finance function. You will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth financial operations using Sage 50. The role of Accounts Manager includes:- Full responsibility for purchase and sales ledger Bank reconciliations and cash flow management Monthly management accounts preparation Processing supplier payments and staff expenses VAT returns and submissions Payroll processing (if applicable) Liaising with external accountants for year-end accounts Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records on Sage 50 Ad hoc financial reporting and administrative tasks To be considered for the role of Accounts Manager, you should have:- Proven experience in a standalone accounts role or similar Proficient in Sage 50 Accounts (essential) Strong understanding of UK accounting principles and VAT High level of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage own workload AAT qualification (or equivalent) preferred but not essential The role of Accounts Manager offers:- Competitive salary Supportive and friendly working environment Opportunities for professional development
