Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
* Perform System Verification Testing for Allied Telesis hardware products.
* Understand hardware electronic design and determine data paths to formulate test plans.
* Work autonomously and collaboratively with a team of experienced engineers.
* Potentially extend testing into other hardware design areas.
* Engage in Python automation to exercise coding skills.
About You
The company is looking for:
* Diploma or degree in electrical and electronic engineering, or equivalent.
* Good understanding of electronic and electrical engineering principles.
* Great communication skills with strong problem identification and resolution abilities.
* Understanding of the hardware design and development cycle.
* Customer and quality-focused mindset.
* Potential skills in analysing technical problems and root cause identification.
* Experience in hardware testing and electrical certification.
* Ability to formulate test plans from product design documents and schematics.
* Understanding of hardware component interactions within network switches or routers.
* Ability to utilise and shape network traffic to exercise hardware.
* Networking knowledge (CCNA, CCNP or equivalent) is highly desirable.
* Experience with network protocol and applications testing.
* Use of network traffic generators and analysers.
1. Familiarity with Linux or similar OS variants.
2. Programming skills in Python or other scripting languages.
