Job Role:
School Nurse
Band: 7
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 – 17:00
Responsibilities: To work as an autonomous School Nurse practitioner to provide safe, evidenced based and effective services to families & Children 0-19yrs.
1. Responsible for the management of identified caseload, and classifying cases in line with national strategy for Universal, Universal plus and Universal partnership plus.
2. Work in accordance to the Locality commissioned service specification, to ensure the 5 mandated reviews are completed within required timescales, services provided are evidence based practice and the 6 High impact areas are embedded within School Nurse practice
3. To improve the health and wellbeing of children and young people especially those from disadvantaged groups
Skills: RiO training and experience essential
QUALIFICATIONS & JOB REQUIREMENTS:
4. 6 months Healthcare experience
5. Right to work in the UK
6. References covering last 3 years of clinical employment
7. NMC Registration
8. Overseas Police Check, if any
9. Indemnity Insurance
10. Up to date CV
