About The Role
The interfaces engineer will be responsible for ensuring Enabling and Earthworks (E&E) sections liaises with the various licensing and consenting bodies during the design, preconstruction, construction, and handover phases of the portion. This will include integrating design and engineering to ensure a compliant design and ensuring the delivery strategy is compliant.
What you'll be doing
* Work towards the CWA Consents Strategy.
* Work towards the CWA Consenting and Licensing Procedures.
* Liaise with Consent bodies Sizewell B and Local interfaces.
* Maintain the relationship between the CWA and the Client team.
* Assist in development of an integrated programme.
* Ensure the proposed methodology and designs are compliant with the various consenting and legal bodies such as DCO / MMO / EA.
DCO And MMO
* Ensuring the CWA follows the DCO and MMO requirements.
* Co-ordinate the MMO License application for the portion works.
* Co-ordinate the DCO “Deed of Obligation” requirements.
* Co-ordinate the production documentation for Sizewell C Consents team.
Reporting
* Assist with monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports.
* Assist with client and license bodies with progress reports and programmes.
Financial
* Provide monthly forecast and liabilities for each portion.
* Assist with the Risks and Opportunity registers for Consents and Licenses.
Organisational
* The position reports to the Preconstruction Lead supported by a consents and interface team.
* Support the development for the team.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* Knowledge of Construction techniques and Consents interfaces.
* DCO and PINS.
* EA Licensing.
* Understanding of consenting process.
* Experience of working with the Consenting and Licensing bodies.
* Previous experience managing Consents and License’s on a Major Infrastructure Project.
* Understanding of working in the Marine Environment and Marine Construction.
Desirable
* Experience of working in a Nuclear Environment.
* Experience of working with Local people.
