This role is part-time, working 32 hours per week and is £12.21 per hour. As a full time Housekeeping Assistant, you will: Ensure that the home area is cleaned to the required standard. Support and encourage people who use our services to maintain their personal space in an appropriate and homely manner. Provide a cleaning and housekeeping service to a high standard such that the home is clean and has a healthy and welcoming environment. Support as required, all housekeeping tasks. Be able to read and understand instructions, especially the correct use of chemicals. Be flexible to cover the shifts required by the post. Have the ability to communicate with most service users. Be willing and interested in working in a caring environment and supporting service users. Although not essential, it would be an advantage if you already have experience of working in a care home environment.
