Household is Admiral’s fastest growing product with significant opportunities in Loss Ratio and Customer Experience. Situated within the Household Data Insights team and working closely with Senior Management, this leadership role will leverage data for strategic advantage and operational effectiveness, contributing to the department’s success.
This is a Data Insights Manager role, working alongside other Data Leads/Managers to fulfill departmental responsibilities.
Main Duties
* Lead the HH analyst team to understand the strategy and business plan, delivering against key priorities.
* Operate in an agile environment, managing multiple tasks, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
* Participate in steering and working groups.
* Collaborate with HH Claims and Core to establish accurate, timely reporting, maximizing value from operational reports in Looker by understanding customer reporting needs.
* Provide insightful analysis and communicate key data insights to HH leadership.
* Develop a framework using policy and claims data with Google Cloud Platform and Looker to identify trends.
* Gain a strong understanding of HH Claims/Core operations.
Personal Responsibilities
* Identify training needs, promote best practices, and maintain team morale.
* Develop talent with clear priorities and objectives.
* Ensure high-quality, relevant department reporting.
* Ensure data from internal and external sources is accessible, utilized, and well-governed.
* Stay updated on projects and contribute to prioritization with appropriate metrics.
* Collaborate with HODs and Change facilitators to ensure test and project ROI with measurable outcomes.
* Develop business cases for projects and initiatives.
* Provide senior stakeholder data commentary and oversee effective MI team investigations.
* Become an expert in available data and its business applications.
* Identify operational and product improvements.
* Assist with internal data products related to HH data (Analytics, Fraud, Pricing, etc.).
* Coordinate with DLH and Data Tribe for data provisioning and pipelines.
* Work with Finance to establish robust modeling, forecasting, and cost estimation processes.
Skills/Experience required
* Strong knowledge of Household data and processes.
* Analytical and management experience.
* Proven strategic contribution.
* Experience in delivering business cases and leading change initiatives.
