We’re working in partnership with a respected regional law firm with a long-standing presence in the North West, currently looking to recruit an experienced legal professional to join their busy and growing Debt Recovery team in Bury.

The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled debt recovery specialist to take ownership of a well-established caseload and play a key role in the team’s continued growth. You’ll work closely with clients ranging from SMEs to larger commercial entities, managing pre-legal and litigated debt matters through to enforcement.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Handling a varied caseload of debt recovery matters, both pre-action and litigated
* Drafting letters before action, claim forms, and statutory demands
* Negotiating settlements and repayment terms
* Advising clients on recovery strategy and enforcement options
* Attending court where necessary (support can be provided for advocacy if needed)
* Supporting the business development and marketing of the team’s services
About You
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in debt recovery or commercial litigation
* Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and enforcement processes
* Excellent client care skills and commercial awareness
* Highly organised and able to manage files independently
* Confident communicator with a proactive, solution-focused mindset
* Experience with bulk debt recovery or volume instructions is desirable but not essential
