ABOUT THE ROLE
Your role as a Senior Care Assistant will involve supporting the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Additional responsibilities will include:
* Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, noting any changes affecting care and updating care plans accordingly.
* Participating in the person-centred care planning process, including implementing, monitoring, and conducting monthly evaluations.
* Supporting residents with their medication needs.
* Undertaking staff supervision and supporting staff development.
* Serving as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and concerns escalated as needed.
ABOUT YOU
To succeed in this role, you should embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability.
Our ideal candidate will:
* Possess an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* Have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
* Be effective in verbal and written communication.
* Have a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Be responsive and flexible to a range of responsibilities.
