About Us
Our charity, the Yorkshire Agricultural Society owns The Halls and The Pavilions which are part of the Great Yorkshire Events Centre brand as well as Fodder - recently hailed in the top 20 food halls in the UK - where we support over 400 local farmers and suppliers.
We also run Harrogate Caravan Park and organise the Great Yorkshire Show which sells out every year and hosts 140,000 visitors.
With a diverse portfolio of businesses, we are keen to hear how you would raise the profile across all platforms, particularly for the Great Yorkshire events Centre.
Purpose of the Role
We are looking for someone who can promote our wonderful events and venues to the consumer and the corporate market.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow the social media presence of our brands across the Great Yorkshire Showground (including Fodder, Great Yorkshire Show, Great Yorkshire Events Centre, and Harrogate Caravan Park).
Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to build brand awareness and engage audiences across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
Create engaging content such as shortform video, imagery and artwork.
Monitor and respond to audience engagement.
Collaborate with teams across the showground to align marketing efforts and ensure consistent messaging.
Track, analyse, and report on social media performance using tools such as Sprout Social and native platform insights.
Support the wider marketing team with graphic design, newsletters, and website management.

Experience & Qualifications
A creative mind with a strong passion for digital marketing and social media.
Ability to tailor content and tone of voice for a wide range of audiences - from corporate clients to consumers, farmers, and producers.
Practical experience in content creation including photography, shortform video, copywriting, and graphic design (e.g. Canva, Adobe InDesign).
Confident in creating and editing Reels, Stories, and TikTok's, with a solid understanding of video editing tools (such as CapCut).
Experienced in using social media management platforms (e.g. Sprout Social or similar).
Proven track record of delivering engaging and successful social media campaigns.
Personal Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Software Suite.
Polite and approachable.
Focus, thoroughness, and keen attention to detail.
Good level of written skills and ability to produce reports.
Has a 'can do/will do' attitude.
