We are seeking
to appoint a talented and ambitious Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join a dynamic and productive research group of Dr Girish Ram Mali, based at the Sir William Dunn School of Pathology, University of Oxford. The overall goal of the project is to establish iPSC lines for mechanistic studies on ciliary dynein motor assembly and regulation. You should hold, or be close to completion of, a PhD/DPhil in biochemistry, together with relevant experience in stem cell biology. You should have an extensive hands-on experience in culturing human iPSCs and iPSC-derived cellular models as well as experience with molecular cloning and generating knockout/knockdowns in iPSC derived systems e.g. with shRNA, lentiviral transductions and CRISPR/Cas9. Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential.
