About the Role
The Billing Support Administrator plays a crucial role in providing administrative and operational support to the Billing Manager and the wider billing team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supportive Role: Assist the Billing Manager and collaborate with the billing team to ensure smooth operations.
* Administrative Tasks: Handle documentation, data entry, invoice processing, and system updates, with a focus on billing.
* Customer Engagement: Maintain excellent relationships across the business while addressing billing queries efficiently.
We seek a detail-oriented, customer-focused multitasker who demonstrates a proactive mindset. Previous experience in billing administration is a plus. The successful candidate will have a solid background in administration, preferably within a telecoms environment, and will work from our headquarters in Canterbury.
Main Duties Include:
* Assist in managing daily billing operations and ensure timely invoice preparation and distribution.
* Maintain accurate billing records and update customer information as needed.
* Address internal and external billing queries professionally and promptly.
* Support the reconciliation of billing discrepancies and resolve invoice-related issues.
* Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Customer Service, Delivery) for billing accuracy.
* Help prepare billing reports and perform data analysis as required.
* Conduct daily traffic checks to identify usage fluctuations.
* Monitor billing cycles and assist the Billing Manager in meeting deadlines.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
* Drive continuous improvement by identifying patterns in queries and suggesting process enhancements.
* Provide general administrative support to the Billing Manager and team.
Qualifications
Key Skills & Experience:
* Administrative or finance support experience (billing preferred).
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
* Strong time management and organisational skills, capable of handling multiple priorities.
* Approachable and reliable, with the ability to seek clarification when necessary.
* Familiarity with billing or accounting software is advantageous.
* Keen to learn, grow, and contribute in a dynamic team environment.
