Role Overview
Are you a motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician looking for a new challenge? NHS Forth Valley has an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team working within GP practices. As a Primary Care Pharmacy Technician, you will play a key role in supporting safe, effective pharmaceutical care, ensuring patients get the best possible outcome from their medicines.
Responsibilities
* Join a team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support workers delivering a much appreciated and well‑respected Pharmacotherapy Service.
* Apply effective interpersonal, communication and influencing skills to work in collaboration with the wider multidisciplinary team across hospital, community pharmacy and care homes ensuring seamless pharmaceutical care.
* Travel throughout the area of service delivery as required.
* Be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
Qualifications
* Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
Working Hours
As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
