Job Description
ServiceNow is currently seeking a Presales Solution Consultant to provide technical sales partnership and to guide customers within the Public Sector in Scotland with product and solution insights. The Solution Consultant will manage a portfolio of accounts, utilizing advanced pre-sales techniques to demonstrate the power, extensibility, and user-friendliness of the ServiceNow platform.

1. Understand business and technical challenges addressed by ServiceNow products, including transformation, operational efficiency, compliance, security, and evolving business needs.
2. Engage with C-Suite Executives and other stakeholders through face-to-face and remote interviews to uncover technology architecture and business requirements.
3. Collaborate with sales teams on account and strategic planning.
4. Lead non-technical discussions to define objectives and articulate the business value of ServiceNow solutions.
5. Promote the value of our solutions beyond features, emphasizing benefits.
6. Support regional marketing events such as user conferences, trade shows, and webinars.
7. Deliver product demonstrations tailored to prospects and existing customers, onsite or via video conference.
8. Create and refine product demo scripts and scenarios.
9. Develop a thorough understanding of the ServiceNow platform to provide consultative guidance and best practices.
10. Respond to RFI/RFP documents.
11. Stay updated on product releases and roadmaps to brief customers and lead proof-of-concept cycles.
12. Analyze competitors and articulate ServiceNow’s differentiators.
13. Coordinate with Sales and Professional Services for transition briefings and deployment expectations.
14. Represent ServiceNow as a subject matter expert at executive briefings and marketing events.
Qualifications
* Experience integrating AI into workflows, decision-making, or problem-solving, including using AI tools and analyzing insights.
* Approximately 4-6 years in pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering.
* Experience with Public Sector Scotland is a plus.
* Technical proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or similar cloud solutions.
* Experience collaborating with product management, marketing, partners, and services teams.
* Strong territory management and pipeline development skills.
* Willingness to travel regionally and work from the London office regularly.
* Understanding of complex matrix sales organizations.
* Business acumen and strategic thinking regarding technology’s role in broader business objectives.
