The role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Site Supervisor to join our successful Facilities Management team working across our LiFT Portfolio. It would be beneficial if you have a certified relevant trade (plumbing, joinery, electrical etc). You will be responsible for supporting the self-delivery of specialist hard FM services to our client in accordance with the latest British EN and SFG20 standards. You will be covering sites across the North West and be supporting and motivating a team of mobile site supervisors.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Undertaking the day to day duties associated with maintenance
2. Undertake Building surveys with respect to Facilities Maintenance requirements with a focus on mechanical and electrical assets and systems.
3. Provide supervision, support and guidance to the team of Facilities Support Officers and sub-contractors
4. Contribute, as part of the EWFM operational team to the professional development of the Facilities Support Officers, including delivering tool box talks
5. Support the Helpdesk with the planning of reactive and planned maintenance.
6. Ensuring all equipment used is done so to Company and/or manufacturers standards
7. Maintain all documentation in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 standards
8. Ensure compliance with Company and client Health, Safety and Environmental rules.
9. Report any accidents, near misses, health and safety or environmental issues to the Helpdesk
10. Support the contracts with PPM’s and reactive works as appropriate (with support from contractors where required)
11. Supervision of external contractors on site and check off completions
12. Be a the key customer link between Contractors and EWFM on project work
13. Report any issues, defects and reactive works to the AFM & Helpdesk
14. Issue permits and inductions at a site level as required.


About you

Aligned to our ethos and values, you will have previous experience of leading and motivating a team. Experience of SFG20 is essential along with having experience / qualification in Electrical / Plumbing / Joinery. Health and Safety knowledge is essential, in particular knowledge of fire management control and working at heights. You will be customer focused, a confident communicator ensuring that the requirements of our client are delivered.

Ideally you’ll have:

15. Previous Supervisory Experience required
16. A good knowledge of Health & Safety, particularly in relation to fire management control, and working at heights.
17. Good communication skills
18. A full Driving Licence
19. Adhere to company policies, be customer focused and able to communicate in a customer friendly manner
20. Undergo DBS checks, as these contracts have members of the public in attendance
21. Water Management qualification
22. Previous experience in the service and maintenance of a broad category of assets, to include passive fire protection, water management (L8) heating / cooling systems etc.
23. The use of Microsoft Office, Excel and Teams
