Your Role Will Include:

* Providing high-quality, person-centred care
* Administering medication
* Supporting residents with personal care and emotional reassurance
* Supervising and mentoring care staff to maintain best practice
* Liaising with families, GPs, nurses, and palliative care professionals
* Monitoring residents' wellbeing and promptly responding to changes
* Upholding dignity, respect, and sensitivity at all times

What you will need

Required criteria

* NVQ/ QCF/ RQF Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care or Health and Social Care
* NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
* Prior experience in a senior carer role
* Compassionate, calm, and emotionally resilient nature
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* A genuine commitment to person-centred care

Desirable (but not essential):

* Experience supporting families through bereavement
* Knowledge of Advance Care Planning and DNACPR processes

We're looking for people who are caring, compassionate, and ready to support older and vulnerable people with dignity and respect. If you have a positive, can-do attitude and want to be part of a team that truly values its staff and residents, then you've come to the right place.

At Hill Care, we believe a care home should be more than just a place to live — it should be a warm, welcoming community where residents feel safe, valued, and truly at home. Guided by our core values of Compassion, Aspiration, Respect, and Empowerment (C.A.R.E.), we provide exceptional care that puts people first.

Why Join Hill Care?

* A clear route for progression into senior and management roles
* Ongoing training and professional development
* A supportive environment that recognises your contribution
* The chance to work in a well-maintained, high-quality home environment

You'll be working in our residents' home — and we never forget that. We maintain high standards of care, and in return, we support our teams to grow and thrive.
