Cloud Security EngineerOur client is a growing organisation looking for a mid-level Cloud Security Engineer. This is a high-impact role where you'll shape and deliver cloud security from the ground up across Azure, AWS, and SaaS environments, reporting to the Head of Security Engineering.What You'll DoDefine and implement the cloud security framework across multi-cloud environmentsDeploy and manage security tooling and automated controls to identify and remediate risksBuild threat detection processes and incident response playbooks in collaboration with the SOCSupport compliance requirements including ISO27001, SOC2, and NCSC Cloud Security PrinciplesTranslate security tool outputs into prioritised, actionable stories for delivery teamsProvide input into IAM strategy (RBAC, Conditional Access, MFA, least privilege)Upskill and guide developers and junior engineers on secure cloud practicesExperienceHands-on experience in cloud security engineering or a closely related roleProficiency with Azure (Defender for Cloud, Entra ID, Sentinel) and AWS (Security Hub, GuardDuty, IAM, Config, CloudTrail)Working knowledge of cloud security frameworks (CSA STAR, NCSC Cloud Security Principles)Experience with scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)Strong understanding of cloud incident responseNice to HaveInfrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, IaC scanning)Cloud network security knowledge (NSGs, VPCs, private endpoints)Relevant security certificationsPackageShare optionsHybrid/Remote working - Belfast35 days annual leave inc statEnhanced pension schemePrivate health Please apply now if you are meeting the above criteria or contact Andrew Harrison directly.
