Job Description
Accession Therapeutics Limited, a vibrant clinical-phase company based on the ARC Oxford site, is looking for a Senior Scientist to join the Process Development section of its CMC group; this is a fixed-term (12 months) post to cover a period of maternity leave.
We are looking for candidates who are able to :
· Support the company's ATMP/ biologics process development (downstream) capabilities
· Support the placement and maintenance of programmes currently with or transferring to Contract Development Manufacturing Organizations (CDMOs) in compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements
· Support the development of platform-based research programmes into CMC operations
· Contribute towards the CMC sections of regulatory and Quality documents
· Prepare internal/ external technical reports and oral presentations
Candidates should have:
· A degree / or higher degree in a relevant scientific discipline or 5+ years’ experience in a broad bio-pharmaceutical process development environment with emphasis on the hands- on downstream process, supporting clinical development programmes
· Experience in the development of upstream processing principles
· Understanding of cGMP manufacturing requirements
· Ability to work collaboratively - and autonomously - in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent inter-personal skills (good written and oral communication)
