Accounts Assistant – Stoneacre Motor Group
We are excited to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join one of the UKs fastest growing motor groups. In this role you will report to the Branch Accountant and be responsible for the daily processing of key accounts functions such as cash, bank, purchase ledger and sales ledger.

Day‑To‑Day Responsibilities
* Reconciling daily banking and bank statements.
* Processing purchase ledger invoices, correcting nominal codes, reconciling supplier statements and setting up BACS payment runs.
* Creating and processing payments using an online banking system.
* Processing customer refunds through the PDQ machine.
* Credit control – sending statements, chasing debtors including vehicle debt and producing a weekly debtor report.
* Processing warranty self‑billing invoices.
* Processing finance commission statements.
* Petty cash control and monthly reconciliation.
* Processing manufacturer bonus self‑billing invoices and credit notes.
About You
* Reliable and conscientious with accounts experience.
* Motivated to learn and progress into more in‑depth balance sheet reconciliations.
* Experience within the motor industry is advantageous; full training will be provided.
* Strong attention to detail and a team player.
* Good IT skills, particularly MS Office (including Excel).
