About The Role
As a Deputy Home Manager, you’ll ensure the clinical care we provide exceeds professional standards and complies with statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements. This involves offering specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence, and supervising/coaching colleagues to deliver exceptional, empathetic care.
About You
HC-One seeks a Deputy Home Manager with a valid NMC Pin, knowledge of National Standards, and familiarity with the NMC code of practice. Experience in person-centred care planning within a care home setting is essential. You should possess positive energy, excellent interpersonal skills, and be capable of mentoring, managing time effectively, and maintaining meaningful records. Your communication with residents and colleagues should be considerate and kind.
You should value kindness above all, as it underpins our approach to Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Our staff recognize that residents are individuals with their own stories, and joining HC-One offers a meaningful opportunity to make a positive difference.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to respond appropriately. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
