Responsibilities
* Support the Head Chef with menu creation, prep, and smooth daily operations
* Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team
* Maintain exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency
* Manage stock, ordering, and waste reduction
* Uphold strict food safety and hygiene standards
* Control food costs and support budget targets
* Step up to run the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence
* Deliver dishes that meet client and customer expectations, including dietary needs
Qualifications
* Proven experience in high-quality catering
* Strong leadership and team-development skills
* Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and safety
* Ability to stay organised in a fast-paced kitchen
* Flexibility and a collaborative mindset
* Creativity and passion for exceptional food
