On the back of an increasing workload, Circet UK is seeking an experienced HSEQT Advisor to support our projects and ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, and Environment Management systems.
This role is based in South West England and involves assisting site teams and managers by identifying hazards, minimizing risks, and maintaining high standards of HSEQT performance, while ensuring all legal obligations are met.
Key Responsibilities as HSEQT Advisor
* Developing the HSEQT Management system in accordance with OHSAS 18001 (ISO 45001), ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
* Ensuring compliance with statutory HSEQT duties.
* Reporting on management system performance and areas for improvement.
* Promoting customer requirements throughout the organization.
* Supporting the delivery of Circet's HSEQT strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Monitoring and evaluating HSEQT performance across the region in collaboration with senior management.
* Providing competent advice on HSEQT matters to staff and management.
* Ensuring all worksites comply with legal HSEQT obligations.
* Developing and implementing HSEQT initiatives and targets.
* Preparing Construction Stage Plans, Pre-Qualification & Tender Documents, Emergency Response Plans, etc.
* Monitoring and reviewing subcontractor works.
* Writing risk assessments and method statements.
* Conducting site audits and inspections, including external audits for ISO standards.
* Assisting with occupational health issues.
* Delivering internal training, including inductions and toolbox talks.
* Maintaining incident records and conducting investigations to identify root causes.
* Monitoring working hours to ensure compliance with legislation and policies.
* Driving continuous improvement and best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
* NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
* Degree qualification or equivalent.
* Extensive experience in civil engineering or telecommunications environments.
* Effective communication and reporting skills.
* Ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* CSCS Card.
* A passion for Health, Safety, Environment & Quality.
