Deliver the Community Speed Watch (CSW) initiative to the people of Derbyshire
As the Community Speed Watch Co-ordinator, you will train and coordinate members of the public to deploy and operate safety speed detection enforcement devices. Your role will involve providing a visible presence on the road network, capturing incidents of excess speed, and educating the public about the dangers of speeding.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Introduce and train new CSW groups to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and effective operation, and support existing groups.
2. Arrange, attend, and deliver presentations of the CSW program to the communities of Derbyshire.
3. Research, interpret, and present data to identify trends supporting Derbyshire Constabulary’s casualty reduction priorities and strategies.
You Must Have Experience Of
* Working in a supervisory role.
* Working with partnerships and external agencies.
* Managing groups of volunteers.
