iCare Dental Ltd is a growing private dental practice dedicated to providing excellent patient care in a supportive and professional environment. We are looking for a Dental hygienist who is willing to work part-time and Weekends as well.
This role is commission-based, the percentage is negotiable and it is for a practice based in Croydon.
Ideal Candidate
* Fully GDC registered (mandatory).
* Minimum 1 years of post-qualification UK experience preferred.
* Confident working independently without a nurse.
* Availability for afternoon/evening sessions and Saturdays is desirable.
* Professional, caring, and patient-focused.
Responsibilities & Duties (include but not limited to):
* Provide high-quality dental hygiene treatment, including scaling, polishing, and preventative care.
* Deliver oral health advice and promote good dental practices to patients.
* Maintain clinical areas to a high standard, following practice protocols and CQC/HTM01-05 guidelines.
* Manage your own surgery setup, decontamination, and preparation of instruments.
* Ensure excellent patient care and comfort at all times.
* Collaborate with the wider dental team to support treatment plans and continuity of care.
Required Experience & Skills
* GDC registered.
* DBS clearance.
* Valid indemnity insurance.
* Up-to-date vaccination records.
* Empathetic, approachable, and able to work well with patients of all ages.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently.
Job Type
Full time including (afternoon/evening sessions & weekends, with potential for additional days as the practice grows).
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £25.00-£40.00 per hour
