Role: Business Analyst - Life and Pensions Our leading Financial Services client is looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst with life and pensions and annuities experience to join their team for a 6-month initial contract. Key Responsibilities: Analyse and document business requirements related to life and pensions, including annuities and reinsurance. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and validate requirements. Develop user stories, process flows, and other documentation to support project delivery. Take initiative to identify and solve problems independently. Ensure alignment of business requirements with project goals and objectives. Provide insights and recommendations to improve business processes and systems. Support project teams in the implementation of solutions. Perform reconciliations and ensure accuracy in all reconciliation work. Build models and perform calculations to support business decisions. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management. Communicate effectively with actuaries and other technical experts. Required Skillsets: Extensive experience in life and pensions, with a strong focus on annuities and reinsurance. Proven ability to take initiative and work independently. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience in developing user stories and other business analysis documentation. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience in reconciliations and building models. Ability to present findings and recommendations clearly. Background in working for insurers. Experience in reinsurance operations. Looking for a manager or someone ready to make that transition.
