Procurement Manager – Redruth, Cornwall – Permanent
Pay: circa £48,000 + Benefits
Location: Redruth, Cornwall – Hybrid with occasional regional travel
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Start: Flexible for the right person

Carrington Wood is delighted to be supporting our client, as they look to appoint a Procurement Manager. This is a pivotal role driving smarter, greener, and more socially responsible procurement practices while ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Leading and managing procurement activity across the business, embedding sustainability and social value into every decision
Overseeing the Approved Supplier List, contractor vetting, and contract management
Delivering innovative projects to reduce carbon footprint and energy use
Managing utility procurement to secure the best possible supply deals
Identifying and securing external grant funding for procurement and sustainability initiatives
Producing clear, data-driven reports for senior leadership on procurement, ESG, and contract performance
Building strong relationships with suppliers, consortiums, and strategic partners
What We’re Looking For:
Membership of a relevant professional body or equivalent qualification
Strong knowledge of procurement legislation, processes, and supplier management
Experience in utility procurement and delivering energy efficiency improvements
An innovative mindset with the ability to implement new technologies and practices
Strong analytical skills, able to assess cost-benefit and ROI for procurement activities
Excellent reporting and communication skills
Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (or ability to travel across the region)
