We are recruiting on behalf of a national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector.
They require self‑employed heating engineers for a long‑term social housing contract.
Contract Details
* Location: Cheltenham
* Contract: Council
* Work type: Landlord Gas Safety Checks and Central Heating Repairs
* Commitment: Minimum of 3 set days per week
* Length: February 2026
* Payment terms: Weekly, one week in arrears
Rates
* £300.00 per day (all parts supplied)
* Additional out of hours rates available

Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of qualified experience as a heating engineer
* ACS qualifications including CKR1 (Gas Cookers) and HTR1 (Gas Fires)
* Panel van (plain or signed)
* Gas Safe registration
* Clear DBS check
* No more than 6 points on a driving licence
* Calibrated flue gas analyser
* £2 m public liability insurance
