32,000 - £48,000 dependent on experience - current hiring all experience levels for 3 new roles in LCP due to company growth

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Occupational Therapy
Paediatric OT experience
Experience working within a specialist paediatric setting
Experiencing completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care plans
Specialist CPD and/or training
Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
The Occupational Therapist plays a pivotal role in assessing the needs of a variety of students for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and providing targeted and specialist interventions to support their development. Additionally, the role involves training and upskilling teaching staff to effectively support students' occupational therapy goals.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' sensory, motor, and self-care skills to determine eligibility for Occupational Therapy provision within their EHCP.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate occupational therapy goals into students' educational plans and learning environment.
• Provide ongoing monitoring and evaluation of intervention effectiveness, adjusting plans as necessary to optimise outcomes.
• Conduct training and support to teaching staff on strategies and techniques to promote students' functional skills and independence within the classroom setting.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, case notes, annual review reports and intervention plans in accordance with regulatory standards and LCP policies.
• Primarily school-based with opportunity to work within the clinic setting.

Our experienced clinical team has a program to support newly qualified and new to paediatric OT to enable core skill development within this area of practice.
