Our superb client, based 6 miles south of Leicester is seeking an experience Parts Manager to join them on a full-time permanent basis working 8.00am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday. There is also a Saturday morning rota which you will take party in. This role is based outside of the automotive sector so will offer the chance to utilise your skill set in a new, very successful industry. As Parts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the running of the parts department, managing a small team of Parts Controllers in a fast paced, busy environment. Your team and department will work towards KPI’s and revenue targets. Your team will be responsible for ensuring that stock levels are maintained to meet customer demand, the processing of customer orders, effective promotion and sale of parts, dealing with email, telephone based and parts counter queries, processing or parts / warranty claims, dispatching parts for field-based engineers, ensuring compliance within the department. You will be involved in team recruitment, when required, training and developing of your team, working closing with the senior management team. To be considered for the role of Parts Manager, you will have strong leadership / management experience, will have worked in a fast-paced parts environment, will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and will thrive on achieving your departmental targets. You will have superb organisational skills and be very customer centric. You will also hold a full & clean driving licence.
