Duties:
* Helping KS3 and KS4 students understand and finish their classwork.
* Working 1:on:1 with students to help them hit their GCSE goals.
* Leading small groups to make English and Maths easier to understand.
* Helping the teacher keep the classroom calm and well:behaved.
* Making sure all students stay safe and follow school rules.
* Helping KS4 students get organised for their exams and revision.
* Keeping a simple record of how students are doing for the teacher.
Skills and Qualifications:
* A University Degree OR a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly valued.
* A friendly and patient personality so you can support students who find school hard.
* Clear communication skills so you can talk to teenagers and other staff members easily.
* The ability to stay calm and helpful even when the classroom gets busy.
* A real interest in education and helping young people reach their goals.
