SEN Teaching Assistant – Long-Term Placement

We’re looking for a patient, empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with a range of additional needs in a secondary school in Enfield. This role requires adaptability, care, and a genuine commitment to inclusion.
Your Role:
* Provide 1:1 or small-group support for students with SEND
* Implement learning strategies under the direction of the SENCO
* Encourage independence, confidence, and progress in all learners
* Support behaviour and emotional regulation when needed
Requirements:
* Previous experience in SEN settings preferred
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Thrive-trained or willingness to complete Thrive training (free via Protocol Education)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
