Responsibilities
* Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards
* Supervise and train staff, fostering a collaborative team environment
* Oversee food preparation and production, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
* Maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate supplies
* Implement and uphold health and safety standards within the kitchen and dining areas
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete satisfaction
* Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
* Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures
* Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu items that reflect current trends
Experience
* Proven experience in a restaurant management role or similar supervisory position
* Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
* Previous experience in team management within a hospitality setting is essential
* Familiarity with barista duties or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
* Strong organisational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail in food production processes
