What you’ll be doing
as the Process Technician
1. Completing routine checks, basic planned preventative maintenance, and problem-solving to ensure the smooth running of the pumping station.
2. Completing monitoring checks to ensure the plant is running efficiently and identifying trends.
3. Undertaking health and safety and security checks.Highlighting and reporting hazards, near misses and incidents, including statutory testing for legionella, fire and housekeeping; making the area safe, escalating any issues to your line manager as soon as possible.
4. Operation of large storm pumping stations to manage our customers’ network.
5. Operation of large mechanical equipment to provide safe plant and hydraulic flow isolations.
6. Completion of confined space entries to complete inspections, maintenance and fault finding.
7. Providing technical assistance and guidance to new starters as well as existing colleagues.
8. Attending all team meetings, engaging with safety briefings and company communications and raising constructive feedback with the management team, with suggestions for improvements.
Base Location: Abbey Mills - Stratford - E15 2RN.
Working Pattern 38 Hours Monday- Friday 7:30 am – 15:36 pm plus Standby rota payments & Overtime opportunities can increase your earning potential upon completion of essential company training.
Due to the nature of this role, you must hold a full UK driver's licence
