The Company A well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy with a long-standing presence in the Southern UK. They specialise in providing strategic planning and technical engineering solutions for the built environment, with a particular focus on the early-stage feasibility and design of large-scale developments. With a dedicated team of technical experts, they offer a comprehensive suite of services including flood risk management, sustainable drainage systems (SuDS), and transport infrastructure. The Role This is an incredibly varied and progressive role within a reputable company focused on supporting you in becoming a fully chartered consultant. As a graduate engineer you can expect to be involved in an array of tasks, from visiting clients onsite, to developing your technical skills using design software through to writing technical reports. The role will include: Exciting projects with many different clients, ranging from highway design to drainage and flood risk assessments Great training and development opportunities to gain exposure to different aspects of infrastructure design and engineering Working closely with senior engineers and directors A friendly and sociable team atmosphere Opportunity to progress within the company and gain more responsibility on projects What can they offer you: Impactful client-facing work A varied mix of site based assessment and being within the office Support from senior engineers with years of experience Industry-standard qualifications supporting long term development The Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following: A degree, or equivalent, in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or GSI (master's level desirable) Ability to work well in a team Excellent communication skills Any professional experience, including through placements or internships would be beneficial Driving licence ideal Desired But Not Essential: Experience in highways design or infrastructure engineering Modules focusing on flood-risk, highways design and flood modelling
